ROSATI’S PIZZA ANNOUNCES 50th ANNIVERSARY WINNER
Loyal Customer from Rosati’s Pizza Sports Pub of Waco, TX Accepts His Trip to Naples, Italy

David Stone of Waco, Texas received news that he was randomly selected from over 200,000 entrants as the winner of the Rosati’s Pizza sweepstakes, “What Lies Under The Pie” and will be awarded an all expense paid trip to Naples, Italy. The prize destination was chosen to symbolize Rosati’s roots and in commemoration of Rosati’s Pizza providing authentic Chicago-style pizzas and Italian fare to customers throughout the United States for 50 years. Rosati’s Pizza is also celebrating the opening of markets in 50 states as part of their milestone.

“We are very excited to congratulate David Stone on winning Rosati’s Pizza’s 50th anniversary trip to Naples where Rosati’s history truly began. Have fun David and don’t forget to post pictures,” said Marla Topliff, president of Rosati’s Pizza.

Wife, Natalee will accompany Stone on the weeklong, all-inclusive trip to Naples. Asked what he anticipates discovering on his trip, Stone says, “Other than the great pizza, I’d say seeing the Italian coast and all the historic sites in & around Naples. We are just super-excited. Neither of us has ever been to Europe so we are looking forward to the adventure. And the only Italian words I know are pizza, vino, and birra – so I’ll be reading Italian For Dummies very soon.”

Owners David and Shannon Dickerson were ecstatic their customer was selected and had the Stones in for dinner twice since the announcement. Rosati’s of Waco has been in business since 2006. “We are very excited to have the winner come from our store! They have been in several times since they won and we have had the opportunity to meet and visit with them. They have told all of their friends & family about Rosati’s. They enjoy our warm & inviting atmosphere. We strive to make each customer feel like they are the most important, and they are! Without our loyal customers we would not be where we are today!”

“I lived right down the street when they opened the Rosati’s in Waco. I know I got a pizza from there the first week they were open and loved it,” said Stone. “It’s a very different type of pizza than any others in Waco. I guess the only real Chicago-style around this area. And the Chicago theme inside the restaurant makes it a very cool place to eat & drink.” His favorite is the Rosati’s double-dough pepperoni & beef.

The first Rosati’s Authentic Chicago Pizzeria was opened in Mt. Prospect, IL in 1964, serving pizza that was and still is based on a family recipe that dates back to the turn of the century. Today, Rosati’s Pizza is the second-largest local restaurant chain in the Chicago area and franchises 150 carryout/delivery and sports pub locations with an additional 15 projected to open in 2015 throughout Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Missouri, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Texas and Wisconsin.
