Rosati’s Pizza Adds Fifth Texas Franchise

Rosati’s Pizza is bringing more of its top-ranked Chicago taste to the Lone Star State.

Rosati’s just announced its 5th franchisee in the state of Texas. The pizza and Italian food brand has more than 200 restaurants nationally and ranks among the top 500 franchises in the United States, according to Entrepreneur Magazine. The newest franchisees are Calvin Dodson and Darren Frankenberger, who plan to open a Rosati’s sports pub in Kingwood, TX, during the summer of 2021.

Calvin and Darren are excited about their new Kingwood location because it is right off the interstate in a highly trafficked shopping center with a major grocery store. It is also close to Houston and its airport. According to Calvin, Chicago-style pizza isn’t currently offered in the Kingwood area. “Houston has been expanding into the suburbs and there is significant growth in our geographic area,” Calvin said.

“We are proud to welcome Calvin and Darren to be part of the franchise family,” said Anthony Rosati, President of Rosati’s Pizza. “As life-long residents in the community and having a variety of business success in other ventures, our team feels confident Calvin and Darren will be a good fit.” Both Calvin and Darren have found success in other industries, from real estate to construction and other restaurants.

The pair was impressed with Rosati’s success and family-owned environment, but it was the quality of the food that convinced them to open a franchise. They were also impressed with the corporate environment at Rosati’s.

Expansion into the Houston market is a milestone moment for Rosati’s. We expect the Houston market to follow Phoenix, where Rosati’s has expanded to include many franchisees.
