Rosati’s Pizza Now Franchising Sports Pubs

Elgin, IL (April 16, 2014) – Rosati’s Pizza has developed a full-service sports pub concept, complete with entertainment for the entire family. The first Rosati’s Pizza Sports Pub was opened in 2010 in Yorkville, IL and has steadily increased sales since opening. As of today, there are now nine sports pubs.

Rosati’s Pizza also franchises carryout and delivery restaurants. “We have had a very successful past two years; we have cracked Entrepreneur Magazine’s Franchise 500 in 2013 and climbed up 181 spots in 2014. We are also included in the Top 300 Franchise Systems by Franchise Times and are in the Top 100 Pizza Companies listed in Pizza Today,” said Marla Topliff, president of Rosati’s Franchising, Inc. From the initial planning to the grand opening, the corporate team is always available to support owners. All franchisees receive the established household brand name as well as the successful business and marketing models, in-house advertising services, resources to provide financing options and an operations team for ongoing support. Rosati’s Pizza is rapidly expanding, with over 20 percent of their franchisees being multi-unit owners. “Rosati’s Pizza offers a business model that is simple and successful. We provide customer service, catering, operations, business and marketing support. We have established business relationships to jump-start any dream of becoming an independent business owner,” said Topliff.

By becoming part of the Rosati family, owners have the advantage of being linked to a recognizable brand backed by original Italian recipes that have become a tradition of quality for five generations. The in-demand authentic Chicago-style deep dish and thin crust pizzas are what really makes a store boom. Consistency and quality is what Rosati’s Pizza values. Each location takes approximately six months from signing the franchise agreement to the grand opening. All new franchisees participate in a 4-week new store opening program, which consists of on-the-job training at a Rosati’s Pizza restaurant. Owners learn all about operations, business development, marketing, management, customer service, food preparation and quality assurance. In addition, each franchisee receives up to two weeks of on-site support with the corporate operations team. Once completed, franchisees receive regular updates on products, pricing, marketing, business, operations and events in a weekly franchisee newsletter. The corporate operations team also conducts Quality Service & Cleanliness (QSC) after a store is up and running to provide additional support if needed.

Rosati’s Pizza is committed to franchising additional sports pub restaurants across the United States and has a mission to provide a family-fun atmosphere while serving their traditional Italian recipes. They have a goal to open 25 new restaurants in 2014 and are celebrating their 50th anniversary. There are currently nine sports pubs located in California, Georgia, Illinois, Nevada and Texas which hold regular family-friendly community events, while also catering to their nightlife adult crowd by hosting live bands and theme nights. The first Rosati’s Authentic Chicago Pizzeria was opened in a Chicago suburb in 1964, serving pizza based on a family recipe that dates back to the turn of the century. Today, Rosati’s Pizza is the second-largest local restaurant chain in the Chicago area and has 164 locations in Arkansas, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Missouri, Nevada, North Carolina, Texas and Wisconsin. Rosati’s Pizza provides delicious signature pizzas, pastas, sandwiches, salads and entrees.
