Springtime Pizza

Pizza is a great treat no matter the season, and at Rosati’s, you’ll always find our standard, tried-and-true recipes. But we also know that seasonal toppings and pies are a fun way to change things up every now and then.

As the weather turns warmer, pizza fans might start thinking about their favorite springtime pizzas. Arugula, fresh tomatoes, and basil are toppings that come to mind, as well as the popular Margherita pizza—typically made with diced tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, basil, and a dusting of parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes.

For fancier spring pies, you can go with an asparagus and morel mushroom pizza, all loaded up with freshly roasted garlic cloves, or a pesto-sauce pizza with a balsamic glaze. Or, if you don’t want to wait for dinner time to eat a spring pizza, try egg and arugula mini pizzas instead! You can even try a pizza adorned with that ubiquitous springtime flower—the dandelion (we’re still not too sure about that one, but to each their own). Head on over to Brit + Co for the full list of spring pizza recommendations.

While many of these pizzas aren’t standard items on Rosati’s franchise menu, our franchisees can get quite inventive with their own seasonal offerings, all placed atop our carefully sourced and prepared pie crusts.

Plus, springtime means more patio diners, youth baseball teams, graduation parties, and other catering opportunities. It’s a great season to be in the pizza business!
